In the vain (a play on that word) of this site the electronic storefront will separate its self from the pack by interactive 3d art to get at the content and their socially conscious orientation. As the Net increases competition and prices standardize then the shopping criteria branches to other factors for the customer to look at and the commerce has to compete in. The nature of the Net is also facilitating wild cultural shifts to the business behind the store front and that will be the emphasis of this area... just when the "Team" movement of the 80's has slowed down - the Net is internalizing cultural business practices - literally forcing creativity, service, quality, and full community focus. Here come the virtual cities as advertising for that cities tourist attractions, "I finally get to see the real Tower of Pisa!"
